We are pleased to invite your city to submit a project* proposal for the C40 Inclusive Climate Action Cities Fund (ICA Fund)**. The ICA Fund is intended to support local governments to ensure city-led climate actions or projects are just, fair, inclusive and benefit all residents, especially frontline communities, whilst also providing the potential for city practices, projects and/or policies to be institutionalised, replicated and/or scaled in the future.

This invitation to submit a proposal is non-transferable and not for public circulation.

Key Information

Prior to completing your application, please review the Application Guidelines (available in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Chinese), which include details on the C40 ICA Fund and its criteria, information essential to making your application successful, and the city selection timeline.

The purpose of this section is to understand the plan for getting your project from proposal to successful implementation

5. TIMELINE

5.1. What is the realistic timeframe to implement your project? Please choose one option

6. IMPLEMENTATION

6.1. What is the desired IMPACT you hope to see as a result of the project? Please detail the longer-term impact you hope to achieve in the city, which this project will support.
Impact should be considered as the longer term effect of an outcome; a change in behaviour, attitude or actions of key actors, policies or practices. For example, reduction in energy bills, reducing vulnerability to climate change impacts and accessing services to tackle energy poverty, which will result in improved health and well-being

6.2. What are the key climate policy OUTCOMES you hope to see as a result of the project? Please list at least two expected and measurable outcomes this funding will help you to achieve and what targets you will use to measure them
Outcomes should be considered as measurable shorter term effects, which include the benefits that your project or intervention is designed to deliver to your target population. For example, access to training will equip home care workers with knowledge and skills to identify situations of hidden energy poverty and inadequate thermal comfort in the homes of at-risk residents

6.3. Outline in detail the intended social, environmental and economic OUTPUTS

Please list at least two outputs you will deliver through your project

Outputs should be considered substantial pieces of work done to achieve your proposal objectives. For example: (1) Energy Poverty and Climate Resilience training modules for home care workers is designed (2) Training is delivered to X number of participants; (3) Facilitator’s Guide and Toolkit developed; (4) post- training videos and evaluation report developed that draw on the content covered in trainings in an accessible, understandable, and attractive way
